Massage for women
Massage is a form of intuitive touch which promotes comfort and relaxation. A healing art used by many ancient civilisations both in the prevention of disease and healing of injury. Massage is beneficial to all the body’s systems; a natural and effective way to treat both physical and psychological problems. Massage can be soothing and soporific or can stimulate and energise.

Treatments are offered in the comfort of your own home. Based in the Golden Triangle, Abi will travel within a 15 mile radius of Norwich.

NEW! Ultimate Stress Buster
A deeply relaxing and effective treatment to ease stress, muscular tension and headaches. It can help improve sleep and promotes well-being – perfect to beat those winter blues. Commencing with an Indian head massage followed by soothing massage of the face using specially blended oils to suit your skin type and a combination of techniques. The neck and shoulders are massaged and gently stretched before ending with a deep tissue back massage.

Facial Massage
The face is important to everyone yet it is often overlooked in massage. The face has a complex muscular structure, the muscles are tiny and delicate which makes them very responsive. Facial muscles are in almost constant use and we tend to use some expressions more than others. Tension can build up within our facial muscles from the pressures of everyday life without us realising it. Thoughts and emotions can easily become habitual, locking themselves into our facial expressions. The resultant collected tension can lead to constriction of muscle tissues and a decrease in circulation to the dermis and epidermis.

Massage increases circulation and helps to release the over contracted muscles. Increased circulation helps skin cells to repair and rejuvenate therefore improving complexion. The resulting effect is that of a natural facelift which radiates good health. Using simple, natural and effective techniques which aid lymphatic drainage, moisture balance, improve skin and muscle tone.

Facial massage is deeply relaxing and especially beneficial for those suffering from headaches, eyestrain, sinus congestion, insomnia, stress and depression.

Massage for pregnancy
During pregnancy, massage can be used as a support to the physical changes experienced by expectant mothers – alleviating fluid retention, easing aches and pains. It can provide a quiet space for relaxing and nurturing.

Massage has been used through the centuries and across cultures to support women through the process of childbirth. In the last few weeks of pregnancy and through labour, specific massage techniques can be effective methods of pain relief. Having learnt these techniques the birthing partner is able to take an active role to support, soothe and reassure.

Post-natal massage can be of great benefit to new mothers adjusting to the arrival of their new baby. Massage increases the release of hormones responsible for the production and let-down of milk in nursing mothers.

Pregnancy treatments are given on a futon mattress using pillows to support the client lying sideways. The massage oil is specifically blended for use during pregnancy. Pregnancy treatments can be taken after the first trimester.

Treatments are offered in the comfort of your own home.

Massage for babies
The ancient and beautiful practice of baby massage has considerable benefits to both parent and child. Research shows that massaged babies are calmer, cry less and have improved sleep patterns. With touch being the first sense to develop in the womb, it is the most natural way to communicate with your baby. Using this affectionate expression of touch deepens the bond between you and develops your confidence and understanding of your baby’s non-verbal language.

A specially made baby massage doll is used as a teaching aid and parents massage their own babies. Fathers are very welcome to attend classes as are other close family members. Oil is provided along with an information folder to compliment the course. Mums also receive a discount voucher for massage for themselves.

One-to-one tuition is also available in the comfort of your own home, over four weeks.

Private tuition is also offered for groups of between 2 and 6 in your home. Contact Abi for further details.
